For many years now, Lieutenant Governor Raymond S. Tenorio has supported the development of Guam’s youth through his ‘Comps for Kids’ program.
The program was founded during his service to the island as a Senator. It is a community-based program where donated computers are refurbished and then provided to institutions where children can use them for personal and academic development.
This year, the Comps for Kids program will benefit from the assistance of the Guam Community College and Dr. Mary Okada, GCC president.
Students at the college will perform all the necessary work on the computers and earn credit for their work. Once complete, the computers will be ready for public distribution, and the GCC students will have learned valuable skills along the way through their hands-on endeavor.
